The Payoff....
.....425 steps later!!!This is what we found at the top - along with the parking lot which we could have driven to. No personals here - Jarrod had passed out amongst some unknown family while their mother scooted them quickly away thinking something was terribly wrong with him. Oh, little does she even know!

More Fries Please!
Although not actually on full-fledged solids yet, my dear son is learning the highlights of nutrition through his health-nut Daddy. Oh c'mon - even I can't keep a straight face and type that!! Lemme re-phrase - my dear son is learning how to be a fries connoisseur. Apparently, since there are still fries on the plate - you might as well be eating the plate - 2 stars out of 5. My little Jarrod in training!!

Belly Beginnings

Everytime I go into Valentino's room to pick him up from a nap or in the morning this is how I find him. He is so proud of his tummy abilities. He pops over so fast now I can't even stop him. This can be a bit frustrating when he is trying to settle himself to sleep and keeps flipping over. It seems to make him smile, though. Now, if he could only flip back over...

Bring On the Fun!

Other big news for Saturday, we finally got the Exersaucer of Valentino's dreams thanks to Gran! Jarrod put it together in a jiffy, despite lack of RTFM'n! No, really - he put it together super fast. I didn't even find any extra parts left over! Oh, except that pesky manual that was found at the end...
Big Day Out

Valentino is teething. At least we think he is after a fussy weekend and telling us how he thinks it is. I suppose we should get used to that. He gnawed on anything and everything in sight with occasional bouts of incessant drool. That was the cute part.
Saturday he took his first stroller ride actually seated in the stroller - upright with the straps criss-crossed. When I saw how Jarrod had rigged the straps up I got an instant vision of my brother on his baby-leash that Mom used with him as a child. It must have criss-crossed in the same way. He hates when I talk about that. Sorry bro!
